Monocryl an absorbable  suture made of (Poliglecaprone 25) Monofilament synthetic material. It is absorbed by hydrolysis with complete absorption between 90-120 days.

Tensile strength 

For Dyed suture tensile strength after is approx 60% after 7 days and 30% after 14 days

For Undyed suture tensile strength after is approx 50% after 7 days and 20% after 14 days
